Bicylists, Now You Can’t Be Ignored on the Road.

Don’t bike naked, send your message to those around you with a BikeTag™.

Bicyling just got safer and more fun with the introduction of BikeTags, a simple but effective signage system for bicycles. Biketags are durable, easily-installed, brightly-colored signs that attach to the seat or handlebars of a bicycle. Biketags are clearly visible to approaching traffic, fellow cyclists and pedestrians . Now you can bicycle and be confidence that those behind you get the message!

If you’re a bicyclist there are many occasions when you wish you could send a message to the driver or person behind or in front of you. Cars have bumper stickers and “Baby On Board” signs, now bicycles have BikeTags. BikeTags allow a bicyclist to send a message with clearly visible and bold designs. Whether the message is for fun, safety or self-expression BikeTags have a design for the occasion. Or bicyclists can submit their own art for a custom BikeTag.

BikeTags are made from hard, weather-resistant laminated plastic and are light and durable. At just $3.99 each, BikeTags are an inexpensive way to communicate your message. BikeTags are attached to your bicycle seat’s underside bars and install in just a couple of minutes. Two solid plastic rings attach your BikeTag to your bicycle seat and provide a secure, durable fit.

BikeTags Really Work!

Field tests show that BikeTags really get the message across and turn bicyclists into real, expressive humans! Sending a clear message to drivers and other pedestrians with a BikeTag is an effective way to say “I’m here!”. Drivers slow down, give way and might just view you in a more positive light.

BikeTags were invented and developed by John C. Tripp, an avid bicyclist and graphic artist now based in Western North Carolina. Tripp has bicycled his entire life, in major cities like New York and travelling long distances like the Blue Ridge Parkway. Tripp created BikeTags as a direct result of his bicycling experiences: out of a desire to communicate with other vehicles and pedestrians. Tripp hopes to create a safer and more expressive exchange between bicyclists and their fellow humans. All BikeTags are handmade in the USA with 10% of profits going to bicycling advocacy.
